NetBackup / Sybase ASE backup

NetBackup ile Sybase ASE db backup için aşağıdaki adımlar uygulanabilir.

1. Sunucuya NetBackup Client kurulumu yapılmalı

2. NetBackup Client Service yetkili kullanici ile çalismali

3. C:\Program Files\Veritas\NetBackup\DbExt\sybase altindaki libsybackup.dll  dosyası X:\sybase\GAD\ASE-16_0\lib altina kopyalanmalı

4. C:\Program Files\Veritas\NetBackup\DbExt\sybase\samples klasöründeki script düzenlenmeli, script içerisine sistem bilgileri girilmeli

5. script satırı kısaltılmalı, uzun olduğunda hata verebiliyor

6. script user pass bilgileri ile güncellenmeli, -X paremetresi eklenmeli

8. DB ve LOG backup için ayrı script ve backup politikası tanımlanması daha kolay olabilir

DATABASE Backup için:

C:\backup_scripts\sybase_db_backup.cmd

TRANSACTION log backup için:

C:\backup_scripts\sybase_log_backup.cmd

--- ASE backupları için aşağıdaki log klasörleri kontrol edilebilir.

C:\Program Files\Veritas\NetBackup\logs\bphdb

C:\Program Files\Veritas\NetBackup\logs\sybackup

--- Sybase backup listelemek için aşağıdaki komut çalıştırılabilir
